PRISM EDC AT A GLANCE

"Many people are familiar with the saying, 'If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.' I think that saying falls short - I would like to see people own their own lake! Then they not only feed themself, but they can supply an entire community."

Bishop Walter Harvey, Prism EDC Founder and President Emeritus and retired Senior Pastor at Parklawn Assembly of God Church.
Founded by Parklawn Assembly of God Church, Prism EDC is a nonprofit organization that exists to provide the Sherman Park community with access to resources that result in sustained economic growth and entrepreneurial development, specifically focusing on food-related economic development and community service.
Opportunities and services provided by Prism EDC bring hope and opportunity to the residents of the Sherman Park neighborhood.
